Reverse Power Relay

Mikro's RPR415 reverse power relay is a directionally controlled timing relay which serves as a device to monitor system power direction and protect AC generators from motoring. When such a condition occurs and the reverse current exceeds your adjustable preset limit and the current persists for a predetermined delay time, the trip relay operates to disconnect the circuit.

Key Benefits

  1. Able to monitor 3 phase 4 wire systems
  2. Protect AC generators from being damaged

Applications

  1. Generator protection

Metering Solutions

Mikro’s metering solution provides user with the choice of measurements of various parameters in the electrical system. It includes measurements such as Voltage, Frequency, Current, Power Factor, Energy (kVAh, kWh & kVARh) and Power (Apparent, Active & Reactive).

Key Benefits

  1. Easy to read digital display
  2. Compact size casing

Applications

  1. Display of Power measurement values in an electrical system

Voltage Relays

Mikro's cost-effective voltage relays provide protection against equipment failure caused by voltage faults on 3 Phase systems. A wide range of units are available including reverse power, phase loss and under & over voltage. Each unit has characteristics to suit different protection scenarios.

Key Benefits

  1. Microprocessor based relays for increased accuracy and reliability, while being more resistant to vibration and shock than traditional electromechanical relays (MU2300, MU250/150)
  2. Digital display or dial activated for ease of use
  3. Robust casing protects units from external interference

Applications

  1. Voltage protection in electrical distribution networks

Earth Fault Relays

Mikro's cost-effective earth fault relays comprehensively detect and activate trip protection to medium and low voltage applications. The series of earth fault relays are microprocessor-based numerical relays and are housed in resilient mounted casing. The high end model, MK232A includes five selectable IDMT characteristic curves which provide multiple matching protection characteristics curve for different load types.
